This series includes two courses: Global Safety Principles and Construction Safety Orientation.

 

The first course is designed to make new construction workers and site visitors in and around construction sites aware of the potential hazards and safe work practices associated with the construction industry. The content is designed to comply with the intent of the applicable regulatory requirements.

First Aid: Basic

 

First aid is the immediate care for any person with injuries or sudden illness before professional medical treatment is available. It not only involves the injured person's physical condition and emotional state, but the entire emergency situation. This training course will focus on how to use a systematic approach to evaluate an emergency situation and respond to basic first aid situations prior to the arrival of emergency medical services (EMS).

 

Note: This training should not be used as the primary basis for any first aid certification. It is intended to provide you with knowledge-based training only. This training should be accompanied by a performance-based component provided by a certified first aid instructor.
