ANSI/BICSI 007-2024 is updated with guidance for both single-pair Ethernet and power over digital line (PoDL) and includes initial information regarding fault-managed power. Section 10 for AV systems also doubled in size, with a focus on audio and video conferencing. Other revisions include guidance for extended cabling ranges to devices, as well as device mounting and enclosures wireless systems or protocols which may need to be supported.
